Kia Sportage 2023

All-new 2023 Kia Sportage so this is a brand new generation of sportage and this particular one is a brand new trim level called the x-line all-wheel drive. So there are two different x lines the regular X line and the X line limited, so both of them are going to share the same look compared to the other trim levels. But this one has a few key differences that it doesn't have which The Limited does and what we're going to do is we're going to start with the X Line Design Elements and then we're going to move on to outside features and then we're gonna head inside so starting on the front here.

We have those beautiful LED Boomerang daytime running lights and in this one.  It's the reflective LED style headlights instead of the projection ones and there are no fog lights that would normally be down in the bottom here compared to the limited but on the outside everything else is going to be the same so this has a specific different gloss black Grille than the other trim levels the bottom of the bumper is a different style.

Sportages even being a mid-trim level you get 19-inch Alloys that have gloss black and machine finish in them and these are running on Michelin. All Seasons that are 235 55 r19 this has the gray plastic molding. We have a little garnish piece at the bottom to match the part on the front of the grill this has the gloss black mirrors with the LED signal repeaters in the side and then you'll see we have the dark Chrome that goes around the belt line here and a nice little design at the back and this does save the gloss Black Bridge type roof rails and on the back.

The lower bumper is also different to kind of match the front and again I'll put an example up to see the difference between the other ones. This is also powered by a naturally aspirated 2.5 liter inline four-cylinder and it's paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and then for just general outside features.

We have a camera that's up at the top there and that is for your lean keep with Lane follow assist your wiper arms on this car are actually tucked up underneath the hood a little bit and I do have videos on how to properly raise those so don't try to lift them on their own because they will make contact with the hood again.

We have the beautiful LED daytime running light and the boomerang style up at the top here. We have ourregular incandescent turn signals and then we have the reflective LED headlights so that's going to be for your low beam and your high beam and this is what it looks like with the low beam on which is in the middle here and then although this might look like it's moving on the camera this is not moving at all it's just because of the cameraand then the lower part here this is where your high beam would come on and that's what your turn signal looks like and it's also in the side mirrors we do have a spot for a tow hook in the front and for forward safety.

You'll have an incandescent brake light and an incandescent turn signal light we have our LED third brake light at the top here and we have a shark fin style antenna that's body colored and then you'll notice that at the bottom of the window there's no wiper blade there now so what they've done is they've gone and tucked it up underneath the spoiler. So that it's not exposed to the elements we have our new Kia badge we have our Sportage badge and then we have the specific x-line badge in the lower bumper you do have your rear parking sensors and just for reference this is where your reverse light is right here in the center and you also have a feature called rear cross traffic collision avoidance so if you happen to be backing up and somebody's walking or driving in from the side it's going to audibly alert you out loud with arrows on your backup camera screen telling you what direction.
